Stayed here twice before, wasn’t disappointed then, nothing has changed, still a welcoming friendly B&B. Location is stunning, with the bus station over the road for easy access to surrounding locations. Breakfast’s are delicious you never leave hungry. Would highly recommended a stay here - J

Just spent another few days at The Compston House B&B and would recommend the B&B to anyone wanting to stay in the Ambleside area. Megan & John are excellent host and nothing is too much trouble for them.We stayed in Room 8 on the top floor which we found ideal for us. As for breakfast there is a large selection to choose from and all what we had tasted delicious. All in all I would highly recommend Compston House B&B for a place to stay - Anthony Hobson
